Really lovely walk with woodlands, a lake (toddlers can feed the birds if you wish) and a longer route (takes just under an hour at a slow pace) but also with a shorter alternative for those with toddling children or recovering from birth.

Tested this walk twice now. If it’s rained there’s a few muddy bits but they are avoidable. Some areas have a bumpy path. Mostly suitable for pushchairs or carriers (I’ve done both). Mostly flat with a small hill at the end.

Meet by the pay machines in the car park at 10:30, leave for the walk at 11.

Has a coffee shop with lunch and cakes at the end.
